The annual March On Albany brings together many people, clubs and groups from across the state and is coordinated by the New York State Conservation Council, Inc.      Each year OCFSC sponsors our local Friends of the NRA Dinner and each year the dinner has grown in size. The Dinner is the local fundraiser that is held to benefit the NRA Foundation. One great thing about the NRA Dinner is that at least half of the funds raised at this Friends of the NRA Dinner and other Friends Dinners held across NY State stays in NY State and thousands of dollars has been awarded to clubs and organizations in Orange County.
The Dinners are great fun and almost everyone walks away a winner. The Dinner features Door Prizes, Bucket Raffles, Bonus Bucket Raffles, Wall of Guns, Auctions, Silent Auctions and many other Raffles and Games. Prizes can be just about anything and range from small items like a hat or key ring all the way up to one of a kind; GUNS like rifles, handguns or shotguns; ARTWORK like limited edition framed prints; and other Gear and Other Merchandise like art items, decoys, Belt Buckles, sculptures, Knife of the Year and many other items. In addition, many local clubs, businesses and individuals donate thousands of dollars worth of prizes that are given away at each Dinner. Please plan to attend the next year's Dinner.
